When should I come?

We are getting married Friday, December 3, 2021.  Our first event will be the evening of November 30th.  Book your travel accordingly!

Where do I fly in to?

From *YOUR* city to Puerto Vallarta.  PVR for airport code.  From there, you will take the transportation you booked via Sayulita Suburban roughly one hour to the town.

Yes, there are other means of transportation.  There is Uber, taxis and a bus.  You're free to explore any other option.. good luck..

Can my kids come?

I'm sure we like your kids, but NO, they are not invited to the wedding.  Should you want to also use this as a family vacation, please arrange childcare during your attendance at each of the wedding events.

**The venue is not safe for young children and they are not allowed.  The venue is on a cliff... and there are monsters.

What do I wear?

Sunset Cruise:

Please bring TOWELS !!!

Pack like you are going to the beach, sunscreen - hat - glasses - wear your swimsuit, please wear flip flops, they will come off !!!

There is NO spray sunscreen allowed on the boat...

Please bring Regular ( rub-on ) sunscreen with you (From AllyCat Tours)

Wedding: Beach formal.  Ladies, wear flats or wedges.  You will be in the grass and the venue is down a rather steep driveway.  You may also want to consider a light wrap for the evening as it may be chilly.

Is Sayulita safe?

Generally, YES.  We felt quite safe in the town.  We were warned of only petty crimes.  As a general rule of thumb anywhere, be aware of your surroundings.

Money

Mexico uses Pesos.  You can get some before you depart.  You can get some at the airport.  You can get some upon arrival at any ATM.  We noticed most places do NOT take credit cards and some ATMs were out of money.  We recommend coming with some correct currency initially.

Water and other stuff

No, you cannot and should not drink the water in Sayulita.  It is recommended that you brush your teeth with bottled water as well.  However, Jim used tap water to brush for 5 days and survived.

Ice at restaurants is safe.

Plumbing:  Sayulita kindly requires that you only flush what is natural.  Toilet paper, etc is to be disposed of in a trash can.

How to get around

It is fun and easy to fully explore the town on a golf cart.  They rent for roughly $50 day.  There are multiple rental companies.  Book these soon as this time of year is the high season.  We used Nava Golf Cart rentals.
